(VP) Digital Customer Experience Strategist - Healthcare Advertising - Remote

My client is seeking a Strategic Planning Director-VP to lead their team of Strategic Planners, Senior Planners, and Planning Directors. In this pivotal role, you'll serve as the strategic lead in developing communication strategies for both new and existing business opportunities. Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying emerging therapeutic areas, assembling teams for pitches, and acting as the key point person for clients and the team when the Director, Strategic Planning is out of the office.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop strategic communication plans in collaboration with the Strategic Planning Director -EVP
• Lead primary and secondary research efforts
• Mentor and guide the planning team in conducting comprehensive literature and internet searches
• Design and execute primary market research studies to uncover critical insights
• Serve as a consultant for clients on market research design, methodology, and results
• Provide strategic recommendations to account/creative teams and clients based on a deep understanding of pharmaceutical brand marketing and promotional strategy
• Lead the strategy for brand positioning and creative brief development
• Design client workshops such as positioning workshops
• Maintain senior-level client relationships
• Manage the strategic planning team by delegating projects and fostering employee career development
• Lead new business initiatives
• Demonstrate a deep knowledge of HCP behavior

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including marketing, advertising, market research, or consulting
• Strategic planning experience in pharmaceutical advertising is preferred
• An advanced degree is preferred
• Proactive, dynamic, hard-working, and entrepreneurial mindset
• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Proficient multitasker with the ability to handle projects and consulting within the department
