Senior Project Manager - Medical Communications - UK - Hybrid (Berkshire)

Incredibly thrilled to be partnering with our client, a global Medical Communications Agency, with their search for a Senior Project Manager, to join their phenomenally successful UK Team.

We are looking for a candidate either currently working in a Senior Project Manager role or one in a PM role who is ready to make the step into the Senior Level - this candidate will come from a Medical Communications background.

The successful candidate will have a background of working within Clinical Trials Communications and have a strong track record the executions of project strategy, keeping teams motivated and focused to meet agreed milestones.

The client we are working with is a real powerhouse within the Medical Communications World and is well renowned for their innovative and creative approach.

They invest heavily into the development and progression of their teams, making sure that the challenge of the role is matched by the rewards on offer within the organisation

Core Functions of the role
  • You plan and lead the way on how to approach given projects
  • You will be the lead PM on a client or set of accounts
  • You build relationships easily and always communicate with clarity and certainty
  • You gain trust in your decision making and show the way by doing
  • Lead projects and be responsible for their overall delivery
  • Lead programmes of work and be responsible for ensuring all workstreams run concurrently
  • Create accurate scopes of work, resourcing plans and timelines for projects
  • Track the financial health of your projects through burn reports and reconciliations
  • Support other team members with reports, tracking and administration tasks
  • Manage resource bookings for your projects and work with other departments to secure the correct resource
  • Constantly highlight risks and provide solutions to mitigate them
  • Manage change and be flexible in changing course with the overall delivery as the focus
  • Work with 3rd parties to provide services and be responsible for them delivering
  • Make sure project delivery remains on track at all times
  • Ensure the correct approvals are in place for any work going through the Agency
  • Support and mentor other team members ensuring they work in a consistent and effective manner
  • Be a positive advocate for the project management team
  • Be willing to learn and ask questions to aid yours and the agencies development
