Senior Account Manager - Medical Communications.
Job Description:
An independent, global medical communications agency is looking for a Senior Account Manager to join their London, Manchester or Cambridge team. They are divided into 6 core divisions, some more focused on publications and some med affairs. They also work on a range of innovative, digital projects.
The main therapy areas that they work within are oncology, rare disease, respiratory, dermatology, genetic disorders and haematology.
Some responsibilities include:
- Ensuring of a full range of products ands services to clientele within publications, events, strategy, and KOL programmes
- Organising and managing the specifics of project delivery
- Ensuring fantastic results for clients
- Mentoring and managing junior colleagues
- Projects are delivered to deadline and are on budget or below.
- Give ideas and add-to the development of proposals for new business opportunities
- Support / lead client meetings
- Keep up-to-date and knowledgeable on relevant therapy areas

Skills:
- Life Science degree is essential
- 4 years’ minimum experience working for a Medical Communications agency as an Account Handler
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills
- Prior mentoring / managing experience
- Naturally confident and relationship builder
- Strategic understanding of project / account objectives
