Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and review various deliverables, such as slide decks, video scripts, website content, congress materials, sales training materials, and GAP analyses.
- Ensure scientific accuracy, comprehensive referencing, suitability for the target audience, and consistent adherence to the highest quality standards across all deliverables.
- Maintain profound knowledge in assigned therapy areas, staying abreast of industry trends and scientific advancements.
- Lead and oversee the execution of significant medical conferences and meetings, encompassing KOL (Key Opinion Leader) development and endorsement, educational materials, advisory boards, symposia, standalone meetings, Delphi consensus, patient education, e-learning, digital education, and strategic communications.
- Conduct client meetings as necessary, providing updates on key scientific initiatives to both the team and clients.
- Foster strong client relationships, contributing to shaping client strategy by recommending new projects or suggesting alternative approaches to better fulfill client objectives.
- Effectively manage direct reports by offering constructive and actionable feedback, nurturing their professional development.
Required Skills:
- Advanced degree (PhD or MD) is a prerequisite.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in Medical Communications.
- Exceptional scientific and editorial proficiency.
- Experience in Rare Disease, Cardiology, Neurology, Hematology, and/or Oncology domains.
- Strong aptitude for building and enhancing relationships with clients and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to critically evaluate deliverables for scientific accuracy and integrity.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring junior-level writers.
