Project Manager R&D

Summary:

We're partnered with a growing gene therapy biotech out of South San Francisco which is looking for a talented Project Manager of R&D to support activities across research, lab operations and Development teams. They are working on a novel non-viral gene therapy platform that delivers therapeutics with high precision. The organization is growing and they are pre-IPO, making it a great time to join.

Description:

• Support IND enabling activities for multiple programs across different animal models, maintaining diligent documentation of protocols, data integrity, reports, and experimental design
• Maintain standards and quality control for each program and provide continuous process improvement
• Manage overall logistics of tissue sample collection and processing
• Author and review SOPs and other documentation

Requirements & Preferred Skills:

• BS in Biological Science or a relevant discipline and 4-8 years of industry experience with at least 3 years of project management experience
• Demonstrated PM experience across early research to clinical stage is preferred
• Experience in gene therapy is a plus
• Good overall experience across MS project, Excel, SharePoint - a PMP certification is a plus
