Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Information Specialist to join our team on a freelance basis for a duration of 6 months. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing accurate, timely, and compliant medical information support to healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide a comprehensive second-line technical and scientific information service to external customers in line with company and industry standards
  • Prepare and maintain all standard response documents relating to assigned products
  • Proactively identify gaps in current library of response documents for assigned products.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with aligned members of UK cross-functional team and Global Medical Information team for aligned brands
  • Develop regular and tangible medical information trends and insights and provide to aligned brand and medical teams
  • Maintain strong working relationships and insight and knowledge sharing with aligned medical field team members (MSLs and Medical Educators)

 

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or related field. Advanced degree (e.g., PharmD, MD, PhD) preferred.
  2. Prior experience in a medical information role within the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong understanding of medical communication principles and regulations (e.g., ABPI Code of Practice).
  3. Proficiency in interpreting and analyzing scientific and clinical data from medical literature, clinical trials, and regulatory documents.
