Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide HR guidance and support to the business in various areas including competency development, succession planning, talent management, talent acquisition, employment law compliance, employee relations, employee engagement, change management, and process improvement.
  • Coach and consult with management on morale, performance, development, and organizational effectiveness issues, identifying root causes and recommending appropriate actions.
  • Ensure consistent, equitable, and fair treatment of all employees by providing guidance and direction to the business. Consult with managers to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Lead change management initiatives to address performance enhancements and bolster human capital capability within the organization.
  • Conduct and oversee investigations of complaints and concerns with potential legal implications, involving relevant parties and facilitating appropriate actions based on policy and practice.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Support the recruitment process, including collaboration with Hiring Managers.
  • Compile HR metrics data for monthly reporting.
  • Manage the HR Information System Database to maintain personnel records accuracy.
  • Demonstrate corporate social responsibility through both corporate and local initiatives.
  • Act in accordance with the company’s Guiding Principles and adhere to the corporate Code of Conduct.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • Previous experience in a regulated environment is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with staff at all organizational levels.
  • Proactive with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to build strong relationships across all levels.
  • Flexible and able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Results-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities within tight timelines.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as per company policy related to the position described in this Job Description.
