My Client is currently seeking a dedicated and results-driven Account Manager to join their team. Reporting to the Sales Manager Benelux, the Account Manager will play a crucial role in cultivating and nurturing ongoing business relationships with valued customers, representing the company's brands on a daily basis.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative strategies to grow business with customers, identifying opportunities and presenting compelling solutions even in challenging situations.
  • Proactively seek out untapped opportunities within customer sites and develop persuasive plans to drive brand success.
  • Possess a deep understanding of the company's brands, including their values, positioning, target consumers, and personality.
  • Translate product features into emotional benefits, effectively building customer excitement and closing sales.
  • Utilize analytical skills to uncover insights that drive brand growth.
  • Manage and nurture relationships between the company and customers, treating them as partners and challenging them to grow their business with the brands.
  • Manage expenditures allocated to promote the brands, ensuring optimal return on investment and long-term sustainability.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Logistics Officers to assist in forecasting, ensuring adequate product availability to meet demand and align with business plans.
  • Demonstrate expertise in product functionality and implement new assay applications with support from the relevant Product Manager.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Management, (bio)chemistry, or (para)medical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in similar positions, preferably with B2B sales in hospitals and experience in public procurement.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand the impact of products and services on profit and loss calculations.
  • Sales and account/customer orientation with excellent negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in French and proficient in English.
  • Motivated, goal-oriented, and persistent with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on high-quality sales
