I'm Katerina (but I also go by Kat, if that's easier for you!) and as of 2021 I am a Lead Recruiter here on our Medical Communications team. I joined Meet in 2019 - as my first job out of college, I packed my life up from New England and moved to New York City. I started my career here as a Resourcer and have been recruiting for our Medical Communications team based in New York since then. That being said, we are successful at placing talent all throughout the United States! Our team specializes in successfully sourcing top talent for a very diverse range of pharmaceutical agencies, from healthcare advertising, to promotional medical education, publications planning, managed markets, and health PR. As a Lead Recruiter, I hold the responsibility of providing full service recruitment solutions on both the client and candidate sides. I successfully place high quality talent in the Medical Communications + Healthcare Advertising fields across our agency client base. Personally, my favorite thing about the Life Sciences industry is the stability it offers - no matter where you are or what type of job you have in this industry, Life Sciences and pharmaceuticals will always be present in everybody’s lives across the globe. In addition to that, the Life Sciences industry offers such rewarding work due to the impact it can have. Every single day, people’s lives can be completely changed due to new treatments and drugs being developed.

The main thing that sets us apart from other recruitment companies is our specialization - there are lots of staffing agencies out there that have a life sciences division, however we exclusively specialize in this division (and we always have). This specialization allows us to provide clients and candidates with much deeper knowledge and insight into the job market as opposed to just scratching the surface level. On our Medical Communications team, we have a team of 7 recruiters that all provide talent for medical communications agencies. The US-based team has been around since 2015, so we have an extensive network of relationships we’ve built with talented candidates in this industry for years.
