Meet is partnering with an EXCITING start up oncology biotech! This client is at a very key point in their drug development and looking to bring on a dedicated medical science liaison to support their activities. This MSL must have an ambitious spirit and a passion for rare disease and oncology. This role will be joining a new team of MSLs as this company begins to grow and flourish.
The MSL will join a team of fellow scientific experts who work in the field as an extension of the company's medical affairs organization. The MSL is responsible for engaging with thought leaders in the oncology space as they're involved in various phases of scientific study and product development. This is a role that will require a highly enthusiastic, determined and resourceful individual, as this is a brand new team! Joining this team is sure to be an exciting scientific endeavor!
? Candidate must live within territory -- New York, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire or Maine
? Seeking MSLs with 3-5 years of previous MSL experience, oncology and rare disease experience is a PLUS
? PhD, MD, or PharmD or appropriate equivalent degree with the ability to communicate, strategize, and exchange scientific information across various levels of personnel
? A demonstrated ability to perform at a high level within a dynamic and fast-paced cross-functional team environment with tight deadlines and turnaround times
? Ability to travel up to 75% of the time with occasional weekend work expectations
? In-depth knowledge of oncology and the associated medical challenges to provide expert insight, establish and drive the disease vision by rigorous scientific debates with medical thought leaders
