A brand-new opening has become available for a long-term, 12-month contract/freelance opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join this world-wide recognised, top 10 Pharmaceutical company.
Due to the growing data within the companies Genomics Research, they are hiring an Scientific Project Manager, where this role will see you taking on the responsibility of managing multiple Digital Science projects working cross-functionally supporting bioinformaticians, genome analysts and software scientists to ensure all project activities deliver to the expected business value.
The position will suit an experienced project management consultant with solid experience in running projects within the digital science space.

Chance to join this Global Pharma on an initial contract basis, paying a competitive daily rate. The position is entirely remote working across the UK.
• Lead project team - contribute to project planning and prioritisation.
• Coordinate the delivery of genome informatics projects.
• Ensure work is compliant of internal standards and external regulations.
Searching for someone who has proven pharmaceutical background, ideally within oncology or early R&D and comfortable working in a hands-on capacity.
• Excellent project Management experience.
• Agile delivery of IT projects (i.e. SCRUM or KANBAN etc.)
• Excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to work in a team.
• Able to understand complex problems and perform difficult tasks under pressure.
Location – Flexible remote working across the UK.
Length – 12-months with potential extension
