About the Role: Our client, a prominent provider of over-the-counter (OTC) products, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Key Account Manager to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in account management and a passion for building and maintaining relationships with key clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and drive business growth within assigned accounts.
  • Account Growth: Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts to maximize revenue potential.
  • Negotiation: Lead negotiations with key clients to secure favorable terms and conditions, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Market Insight: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and threats.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, marketing, and product development teams to ensure a cohesive approach to account management.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on account performance, sales forecasts, and market insights to senior management.
  • Problem Solving: Address any issues or concerns raised by key clients promptly and effectively to maintain high levels of client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Key Account Manager or in a similar role within the OTC or healthcare industry.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market data and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with key clients.
