Our client is a leading biotechnology company committed to advancing cutting-edge therapies for patients with complex medical needs. Our mission is to improve patient outcomes through innovative treatments and therapies. They are looking to hire a new Associate Director, Biostatistics to join their Redwood City, CA team onsite 4 days per week. 

The Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to develop clinical protocols, statistical analysis plans, and study reports. 

• Oversee the management of external vendors to ensure the quality and timeliness of deliverables.

• Lead the validation of key analyses and regulatory submission materials, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

• Provide strategic guidance and support for ongoing publication activities, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to disseminate study findings. 

• Drive the development and implementation of innovative statistical methodologies to enhance study design and data analysis. 

• Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering their professional development and growth within the organization. 

Skills And Experience We Seek

• Advanced degree in biostatistics, statistics, or a related field with 8+ years of relevant experience.

• Extensive experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on oncology preferred.

• Proven expertise in statistical programming and familiarity with regulatory requirements, including FDA and EMA guidelines.

• Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across diverse teams and stakeholders.
