1.1          In this Privacy Policy:

1.1.1            references to weus or our means Meet Recruitment Limited, a limited company registered in England (company number: 06972871), whose registered office is Irongate House, 30 Dukes Place, London, EC3A 7HX, United Kingdom.  Our VAT registration number is 976917652;

1.1.2            references to you or your means the person accessing and using the Website (as defined below);

1.1.3            references to the Website means the website found at https://www.peoplewithchemistry.com/; and

1.1.4            references to the Services means the recruitment consultancy services, and any other services, that we make available to you.

2.             PRIVACY POLICY

2.1          This Privacy Policy (together with, if applicable, our Website Terms of Use and any other documents referred to in it) sets out the basis on which we collect and use personal information about you, including through your use of the Website and the Services.

2.2          This Privacy Policy describes in detail who is responsible for the personal information that we collect about you, what personal information we collect, how we will use such personal information, who we disclose it to and your rights and choices in relation to your personal information. 

2.3In this Privacy Policy where we use the words personal information we use these words to describe information that is about you and from which you can be identified.

3.             WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PERSONAL INFORMATION THAT WE COLLECT?

3.1          We are the data controller for the purpose of data protection law, in respect of your personal information collected and used through your use of the Website and the Services or otherwise collected or obtained by us, as further described in this privacy policy.  A controller is an organisation which determines the purposes the purpose for which your personal information is used and the means by which it will be processed. In certain circumstances, we may act as a data processor, rather than a data processor. This will be the case where we process personal data solely on your instructions and not for our own purposes. Where we act as a data processor, the terms on which we will process personal data on your behalf will be set out in a contract between you and us.  

3.2          We may share your personal information with Meet Recruitment Inc. (Meet US) and/or Meet Personalberatung GmbH (Meet Germany) which are entities associated with us that also provide recruitment consultancy services because we share certain technical and organisational resources. Meet US and Meet Germany may use your personal information for their own purposes to assist you with finding candidates for any vacancies you have. To the extent that Meet US or Meet Germany collects personal data about you, the terms set out in their respective privacy policies will apply to how Meet US or Meet Germany, as relevant, processes the personal data we collect from you or that you provide to us.

3.3          Any transfer of your personal information to Meet US is subject to the terms of paragraph 7 below which describes how we safeguard personal data which we transfer outside of the UK and the European Economic Area. 

4.             WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION DO WE HOLD ABOUT YOU?

4.1          We collect and use personal information about you in the course of providing the Website and the Services.  The personal information we collect includes:

4.1.1            Information that you provide to us

The information that you provide to us may include your name, postal address, email address, telephone number, financial account number and bank account details, credit history, credit reference information and credit score.  This information will be provided:

(a)     in the course of communications between you and us (including by phone, email or otherwise);

(b)     when you fill in forms for us (including those on the Website); and

(c)      via our social media pages, other social media content, tools and applications.

4.1.2            Information we collect from you 

(a)     technical information (including your login information for the Website and, to the extent that they constitute personal information, the IP address you use to connect your device to the Internet and the browser type and version you use on your device);

5.3          We may be required to obtain your personal information to comply with our legal requirements, to enable us to fulfil the terms of our contract with you or in preparation of us entering into a contract with you.  If you do not provide the relevant personal information to us, we will not be able to provide the Website and the Services to you.

5.4          We will only use your personal information for the purposes for which we collected it, unless we reasonably consider that we need to use it for another reason and that reason is compatible with the original purpose. If we need to use your personal information for an unrelated purpose, we will notify you and we will explain the legal basis which allows us to do so.

6.1.3            any candidates who we provide consultancy services to for the purpose of carrying out our activities; and

6.1.4            external agencies and organisations (including the police, the relevant local authority and other law enforcement agencies) for the purpose of complying with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.

6.2          We will also disclose your personal information to other third parties, for example:

6.2.1            in the event that we sell or buy any business or assets, we will disclose your personal information to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets; 

6.2.2            if we or substantially all of our assets are acquired by a third party, personal information held by us will be one of the transferred assets; and

6.2.3            if we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal information in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply our Website Terms of Use.

6.3          All our service providers and other entities in the Meet group are required to take appropriate security measures to protect your personal information in line with our policies. We do not allow our service providers to use your personal information for their own purposes, unless the personal information is first anonymised. We otherwise only permit them to process your personal data for specified purposes and in accordance with our instructions.

7.             WHERE WILL WE TRANSFER YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

7.1          We will process your personal information both within and outside the UK and the European Economic Area (EEA) (including to the United States of America) for the purposes set out in the privacy policy and including the transfer to any other entities as described in this privacy policy.
