Recently, this immunology biotech has secured large funding to continue their research in T-cell engineering and has partnered with a large commercially successful pharmaceuticals company to further advance their pipeline. The company is currently looking for a Director/Sr. Director of Translational Immunology to join their clinical development team.

Job Overview:

The Director/Sr. Director of Translational Immunology will work with the discovery research team to incorporate novel pharmacodynamic/pharmacokinetic and biomarker strategies into the clinical development plan. As the Director/Sr. Director of Translational Immunology, you will be providing support for early stage clinical trials. The titling of the position will be decided upon each candidate’s profile after initial interviews.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop PK/PD, diagnostic, and biomarker strategies into pre-clinical discovery research and strategies for preclinical-early phase clinical trials

Assess necessary endpoints and clinical protocols

Participate in biomarker strategy implementation

Introducing aspects of cell therapy into immunological treatments and research

Skills Required

Skills Required:

Ph.D/MD in related discipline or equivalent education

Minimum of 5 years of industry experience

Experience in early clinical drug development strategies in immunology, autoimmune experience preferred

Experience in biomarker strategies, cell/gene therapy

Knowledge of clinical, biostatisical, biomarker, and preclinical plans and assays

Exceptional oral and written communication skills while under immense pressure

Excellent interpersonal skills and relations maintenance
