Our clinical team recruit CRA professionals across Europe; taking the time to understand what motivates the CRAs in the industry to leave their current companies and seek new opportunities. They’ve found that the biggest factor was career progression, with 27% of the last 100 candidates they have placed being driven to roles which offer more excitement and responsibility than their current role.
Surprisingly, this was far more important to candidates than money, many candidates found leadership opportunities more appealing over a pay rise when assessing the next step in their career. They want to be developing their skill set, getting exposure to a range of therapy areas and gaining more influence in study management.
