Pharmacovigilance (PV) consultant, Pharmacovigilance Compliance, Pharmacovigilance Manager – Brand new opening has become available for a 6-month contract/freelance as a PV Compliance Specialist to join this world-wide recognised, top 10 Pharma.

Job Overview

Due to an increase of work within this companies COVID-19 trials - they are hiring within the PV unit where this role will see you taking on project responsibilities supporting the QPPV and Inspection Readiness Lead to ensure the PV system is compliant with EU regulations.



The position will suit an experienced PV consultant with a solid background in the pharmaceutical industry and strong knowledge of PV legislation.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:



Chance to join this global pharma on an initial contract basis, paying a competitive daily rate, as a Pharmacovigilance Excellence Expert. The position is based in their Cambridge office, however, can be flexible for remote contractors. Responsibilities include:

Support and drive continuous improvement projects.
Provide support for maintenance of PV system master file, summary of PV systems and monitor PRAC outputs per standard operating procedures.
Develop standardized best practices templates, authoring instructions and guidance for patient safety outputs.
Support activities for GxP audits.
Develop relationships with CMOs.

Searching for someone who has proven Pharmacovigilance background, ideally at a senior/lead level previously and comfortable working in a hands-on capacity.


Skills Required

Excellent PV background – 5+yrs
Global Pharma or Biotech employment history
Appropriate statistical degree – BSc/MSc/PhD
Strong understanding of PV legislation
