Job Overview

Embedded Software Engineer – What you’ll do:

• Improve product line through developing code in embedded C and C++

•Identify areas for improvement, clarifying areas with wider team and driving projects for improvement

•Participate in the planning, design, development, debugging and integration of embedded software

•Work within a strong, technical team of 12 and growing. All working on individual projects but in an open and transparent environment

•Work within Agile methodologies and to IEC 62304 regulations

•Develop, code and test all areas of Embedded systems

•Mentor junior members of the team

•Problem solve and troubleshoot

Skills Required

Embedded Software Engineer – Who you are:

•You are an Embedded Engineer, with experience in both embedded C and C++, with a strong background in highly regulated industries

•RTOS experience is beneficial

•You have experience working on complex Embedded projects, and completing to deadlines

•You have a degree in Software/Electronic Engineering

•You are very interested in all things Embedded, ideally working on personal projects outside of working hours

•You have an appreciation of Embedded Hardware, and can work well with Hardware and wider R&D teams
