An Account Director is needed for a Medical Communications Agency in London

Job Overview

Company Overview:
- This independent company is based in central London, but operates globally in both America and Germany. In London, their team is composed of around 80 individuals working across Digital, Creative, Account Management & Medical Writing.
-They work on 2 of the top 50 pharma products worldwide, and a substantial proportion of their work is global, meaning that there are opportunities for international travel.
-Their main therapy areas are: oncology, cardiovascular, immunology, MS, ADHD, diabetes and medical devices.
-The company is very sociable, with great employee retention and they pride themselves on developing their home-grown talent through their extensive training programmes.

The Role:
-This position involves working with a global client which is based in the US, managing a UK-based team which is composed of one Senior Account Manager and two Account Executives.
- The client is very well-established, and the team have already succeeded in establishing a great position with them.
-This role has a strong scientific emphasis, and therefore the ideal candidate will be science savvy, and also competent in producing forecasts and budgets.

Flexibility:
- This role is full-time, but there is flexibility around working hours; their core times are 10am to 4:30 pm.
- They are also adaptable around working from home.

Salary:
- £50,000-£65,000

Skills Required

It is essential that the candidate has previous experience working in a Medical Communications agency, and that they have a science degree. Ideally, they will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in agency.
