Position Summary:
Looking for a fresh new experience at one of the world’s leading Biotech companies? An exciting company based out of Emeryville is looking to expand their Quality team!
Title: Supplier Qualification Contractor
Responsibilities
- Manage, track, and coordinate supplier qualification activities, ensuring they are completed on time.
- Work extensively with cross-functional teams and external suppliers to manage and monitor material and service suppliers, including supplier risk evaluation, issue resolution, qualification rating assignment, etc.
- Review and ensure supplier files and databases are current and accurate.
- Establish/negotiate quality agreements.
- Support metadata cleanup in the Supplier/ Audit module in Dot Compliance
- Create work instructions for the supplier/ audit module in Dot Compliance
- Support management of supplier change notifications
- Participate in departmental and cross-functional process improvement initiatives and special projects identified by management to support the business needs
Skills required:
- Quality professional with a minimum of 4-5 years of experience with Supplier Qualification in the Biotech/Pharma industries.
- Pharma/Biotech and GMP experience
- BS in Science related field
- Experience with SharePoint/ Dot Compliance
Location: Emeryville, CA (2 days onsite)
Length: 6 month possible extension
Hours: 40 hours/wk
