MSL/Senior MSL - Central United States Territory
We are currently partnered with an exciting start-up biotech company focused in the rare disease space, looking to begin the build-out of their MSL team as they prepare for launch. They are looking for an experienced MSL to be able to hit the ground running and partner closely with their strategy team. This is a chance to work with a collaborative team that is working to make treatment for a high unmet need.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the scientific expert and key point of contact between the company and the medical community, focusing on rare disease
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and other stakeholders within the central U.S. territory
- Work closely with Patient Advocacy Groups
- Develop and execute regional medical strategies that support the launch and commercialization of a rare disease product
- Collaborate on all pre-launch and launch activities
Requirements
- MD, PhD, or PharmD required
- Minimum 5 years of experience working as an MSL
- Rare disease experience highly preferred
- Experience working at a fast-paced, start-up environment highly preferred
- 50-60% travel required within the central U.S. region
