Senior Medical Writer opportunity for an independent, boutique agency with various offices in the UK (London / Manchester / Oxfordshire / Remote).

They are an independent medical communications agency. They work on a range of medical education materials (digital work, meetings / events, slide decks and many more). The main therapy areas they work on include oncology, cardiovascular, women’s health and many more.

Job description:
- Work closely with manager to participate in pitches and proposals
- Delivering consistent and high-quality Med Ed and communication projects within a given time frame and budget
- Adherence to healthcare compliances law & guidelines, and agency & client SOPs
- Develop and maintain great knowledge of therapy areas/audiences/market
- Proactively manage and discuss own workload to make sure workflow is smooth
- Excellent communication skills
- Remain aware of the industry and their current regulatory requirements and practices that effect medical writing, emerging science, medical trends, and technological development
- Create summaries and maintain files on informative medical and scientific journal articles for the team
About you:
- 3-4 years’ experience in Med Ed agency
- Excellent attention to detail
- Great understanding of the process of drug development and the regulations that drive this (both with the EU and the US)
- Strong project management skills
- Great communication skills
- Ability to work within a high-pressure environment
