This market-leading Pharmaceutical company is looking for a talented Senior Biostatistician to join their statistical team and take the lead of early phases projects with a focus on nutrition studies. You will require a strong experience as a Project Leader and main point of contact for the sponsors/stakeholders, as well as being able to liaise with scientists, preclinical teams, and external contractors.

IS THIS ROLE FOR YOU?

Skills required:

• MSc degree in Biostatistics or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience with statistical models.
• Experience within the life-science industry, in either a CRO, Pharma, or Biotech company
• Strong experience with complex statistical methods and sponsor/stakeholders interactions.
• In-depth knowledge of applicable clinical research regulatory requirements, i.e., Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) guidelines
• Strong working knowledge of SAS (or R/Python).

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive statistical expertise by providing statistical advice and support in the design, execution, analysis, and interpretation of large-scale multidimensional clinical trial data.
• Provide expert statistical input and advice into the key documents for clinical trials, specifically, but not limited to, statistical analysis plans and study protocols.
• Conduct hands-on statistical analyses of clinical trial data, in close collaboration with statistical programmers.
• Evaluate and improve internal statistical tools, methodologies and processes, based on the most recent developments in the scientific field.
• Responsible for project management of the statistical part incl. timelines, deliverables and stakeholder management.
• In addition, there is the opportunity to collaborate with and provide technical support to (pre)clinical and life science researchers, to deliver biostatistics analyses of datasets, validate key findings and suggest further experiments.

Title: Senior or Principal Biostatistician

Salary: 10% increase on current salary, up to €80,000

Location: Hybrid (Utrecht, Netherlands)
