Key skills and accountabilities:
Campaign planning, management, and delivery
  • Creative ideas and communication strategy which reflects the real communication objective of the client. They are to be developed, and clearly documented in project plans, and are executed to the highest quality that will provide a strong foundation for delivery of all activity.
Stakeholder relationship and management
  • Build and maintain relationships with key journalists, bloggers, influencers, advocates, and other representing client market sectors.
Knowledge building
  • A clear and current understanding of current affairs, communications trends, client organisations, key market sectors, and the agencies business proposition resulting in client satisfaction and retention.
  • Be an ambassador of the agency. Networks are valuable members outside of the media, they are established and nurtures for leverage with clients and for business development purposes.  
Digital media
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the digital media landscape. Know the digital media tools available and how to implement and embed them into client programs.
People and team development
  • Manage the appropriate time and resources in investing in the development of team members, couching, and mentoring them to become high performance individuals, and help them progress in their career.

As a Senior Account Manager, you will build on your current knowledge of your key sectors as well as be aware of industry developments. You will develop your day-to-day account leadership skills by always taking a front foot with your account teams, ensuring team delivery or integrated communications programmes are delivered to a high level.

Under the guidance of the senior team, you will have a hands-on approach in managing client relationships, delivering strategic, and well thought out communications programmes that are based on expert industry knowledge.

You will take a proactive role in agency operations and forums, and always contributing to the strength of the agency’s broader team, both internally and externally.
