Senior Account Manager
My client is a medical communications network operating globally and looking for a Senior Account Manager to join their team and support senior team members to oversee project delivery, financial management, and day-to-day client management.

There are around 120 employees in this agency globally (about half of which are based in the UK). They offer fully remote working for those that want it (at all levels), but do have an office in London if you prefer to go into an office). Their work spans the whole of medical communications (publications, medical affairs and digital work). Their main therapy areas include oncology, cardiovascular and renal (amongst many others).

Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in science pharmacology or medicine
  • Knowledge and understanding of pharma regulations.
  • Medical Communications industry work experience
  • Experience working across a range of therapy areas and project/client deliverables in a client-facing role.
  • Project and financial management skills with ability to develop budgets and financial reports.
  • Attention to detail and ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders, including clients, third-party suppliers, senior leaders, wider business units.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Reviewing content and internal drafts developed by the Scientific and Client Service team to ensure alignment with client needs and direction.
  • Works alongside the wider team to ensure that the client receives appropriate strategic, creative, and digital planning.
  • Takes ownership of project & financial deliverables. Coordinates project activities and delegates tasks across the team
  • Liaises effectively with third-party suppliers.
  • Supports senior team members on new pitches and attends face-to-face pitch presentations when required.
