We have a growing pipeline of RNA targeting therapeutics for treating diseases across a range of therapeutic areas including genetic, cardiometabolic, complement-mediated diseases and central nervous system diseases
Job Description:
We are looking for experienced and motivated Chemist(s) to join our Discovery Chemistry group to advance/drive cutting-edge RNA editing drug discovery programs.
Responsibilities:
- Enable chemistry via new technologies
- Maintain the lab instruments including HPLC, ISCO, lyophilizer etc.
- Maintain all appropriate corporate standards for lab safety and hazardous material management
- Execute daily chemistry operations with an approach designed to minimize risks and hazard waste streams
- Maintain lab notebook, instrument and inventory records in accord with department guidance and regulatory requirements
- Prepare and present summaries of work for department and project meetings
Requirements / Qualifications:
- PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry with 0-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industry
- Track record of innovative scientific publications in high-profile journals or patents
- Superior laboratory skills and awareness of laboratory safety
