Job Description: Associate Director, Drug Safety

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director, Drug Safety to lead and oversee our organization's safety initiatives and ensure the highest standard of care for our patients across the United States. The Associate Director will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining patient safety programs and strategies, fostering a culture of safety, and collaborating with various stakeholders to continuously improve patient outcomes. This leadership role requires a deep understanding of healthcare regulations, best practices, and the ability to drive change in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and implement patient safety programs, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Foster a patient-centric culture of safety and accountability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate patient safety efforts.
  • Analyze data to monitor patient safety and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and reporting.
  • Develop and deliver patient safety training programs.
  • Engage with stakeholders to promote patient safety initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in patient safety or related healthcare field.
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare or relevant discipline (Master's preferred).
  • In-depth knowledge of patient safety principles and US healthcare regulations.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Local to Tampa, FL
