Meet Blaze, our Head of People. A vital part of Blaze’s role is the training and development of the team. She runs ‘Meet’s Academy’, the in-house training programme for graduates. At entry level this programme involves modules about the software we use, the best techniques to source candidates, how to write an enticing job advert and much more.
Having recruited herself, Blaze has hands-on experience with all the latest software and the unique techniques we use at Meet! She can also empathise with any struggles (we all know a new job is hard at first)!
We pride ourselves on being tech savy so we are constantly evaluating the technology we use. As well as sharing ideas on how to use our existing software in innovative ways, because we want to give our consultants the best platform to be successful.
Providing in-house training means that any modules can be tailored to your market and if you need a re-cap Blaze is always on hand! We want to make sure there is a support system for our graduates, so you will also work with a mentor/manager who can give you additional on desk training. Learning on the job is by far the best way to gets to grips with the process!
As you progress we also have ‘Tool Kit’ sessions every two weeks where one of the senior team will share their knowledge on a key topic. For example, this week the London office have a session on business development!
We believe our people our crucial to the success of the business. This means that a big priority for us is the continual development of our employees at all levels. Last year alone we had over 21 promotions, both graduates and experienced hires!
