I went to Nottingham University and studied Geography, graduating in the summer of 2018. I joined Meet the month after I graduated, and have loved it ever since..

I've recruited into the UK Medical Communications market ever since joining Meet back in 2018, and now head up at that team. The team is made up of around 5 people recruiting into Medical Education, Healthcare Advertising and Healthcare PR opportunities. We have long standing relationships with clients, as Meet was founded on this market! My role in this team is more client focused than before, maintaining current client relationships as well as growing newer ones.

I also now head up the Clinical Operations 360 team in the London office. This is currently a team of 2 people but we're aiming to scale this year. This team mirrors our Client Partners division, working very closely with them - we aim to work with the smaller CROs rather than the larger key accounts. Before joining Meet, science was probably my least favourite subject. Being involved in recruiting into the Life Sciences space has opened my eyes to what an amazing, interesting and important space it is. 

In particular with the Medical Communications market, it's the most creative market within the industry and I've grown to be fascinated by what my candidates do. They tend to be an impressive mix of creative and scientific - they're sociable and chatty, as well as intelligent and passionate about science. 

As well as this, pharma / healthcare / life sciences will (unfortunately) always be needed, no matter what the situation is in the world. It's always busy and thriving, and shows no signs of slowing down. I work with smaller, independent agencies across Med Ed, Advertising and PR, as well as larger, global, networked agencies. I recruit mainly for Medical Writing and Client Services positions within these agencies, but can offer further support too (Editors / Designers etc.)
